Kinja'd!!!

Both the MSF course over the weekend, and today, the actual M endorsement test...I am now fully licensed to buy a motorcycle! Let the rejoicing commence in the streets! Too bad I can't afford one right now. Sigh. Have a Cleveland Cyclewerks tha Misfit to oogle! (dafuq is with the "tha" in the name? Weird.)

Outstanding! So what's the first bike gonna be?

I do like the CCW bikes, though I can do without the corny names...

One step closer to purchasing an Elio!

I got my M last year. Fun course, but I had been riding for almost 2 years with out license and without getting pulled over. Lucky me.

Congrats buddy! I got my license in August and bought a Ninja a month later. Work extra shifts or something... but I would highly recommend getting a bike while everything is still fresh in your mind.

Where are you located that you can ride right now and not fear for snow?

Congrats! Isn't that class fun though? Now just save up and get a nice first bike, whatever that may be for ya. I got an R6 (haters gonna comment on that one...) and still have it / love it. And don't forget gear! Got a pair of Lean Angle jeans for xmas, damn they are some nice riding jeans.

Can't wait to get back on the bike in the spring.

Nice job.. Now just go find yourself a cheapo standard, and ride every nice day you get. Don't try to be a speed freak, and don't go out and GSXR1000 it. Get some miles on, learn how to read everything and everyone. Ride like you don't exist to anyone else, and enjoy what so many miss out on...

might I recommend the Njnja 250? Cheap, light and you can probably sell it for what you paid when you're ready to move up...

Good! Gear is #1, wear it all the time. Good gear will keep you cool in the summer, warm in the colder days, and of course save your ass.

Don't really want anything sportbike ish...the position is uncomfortable, especially considering my very large size.

Yes. My buddies say it's pointless cause you die in a wreck no matter what, but they aren't too bright. Also, I like having skin.

buy the 250, its cheap and you won't care as much if (when) you drop it. After your ready to move up, buy whatever bike you love, but keep the 250! Take it apart and use it to learn how to turn your own wrenches. You'll have effectively learned how to ride AND work on bikes with firsthand experience, setting yourself up for a lifetime of great riding! This is how I did it and couldn't have been happier. good luck and ALWAYS wear a fucking helmet! safe riding!
